The Fiona Lomas Award 

This award is to commemorate Fiona Lomas, who was a CF Nurse Specialist in the West of Scotland. Fiona died very suddenly in 2013 and we would like her memory to live on through the CFNA by presenting this annual award. You are invited to submit an abstract outlining an innovative aspect of care or good practice that enhances the lives of our CF patients.

All submissions will be reviewed by the CFNA committee and a shortlist of applicants (approx. 4) will be invited to share their work in the form of a short 10 minute presentation at our annual CFNA AGM/study day.

The successful applicant/team will be chosen following the presentation, by audience vote, and will receive an award of £300 and a certificate of recognition. The £300 award can be given as a cheque, made payable to the CF service/Trust they work in, or as a CFNA educational grant credit note, for future use by the person/CF service.
